Hey, Honey!

Brief
Farmer Tom has a pumpkin patch on his Meath based family farm. Every year children come across the counties to visit the patch and pick a pumpkin. In 2017 he introduced some bees and started making his own honey Hey, Honey!
With no pre-existing identity in place, the challenge was to create a characterful logo and packaging design with whole family appeal.
Response
The outcome of the project is an identity reminiscent of childhood drawings, combined with a limited colour palette of black and yellow. The minimal colour contrasts with the hand lettering and quirky illustration, giving the design a sophistication so that it appeals to both parent and child.
